After decades of refining their civil design and construction expertise at large, global firms, Shannon Holman and Tony Raposo reached a pivotal moment in their careers. While their passion for engineering remained strong, they found themselves at odds with the priorities of big corporate culture, where the focus on profits often overshadowed the value of meaningful relationships. They envisioned something different: a company where people—staff and clients—were at the heart of every decision.

In 2015, Shannon and Tony had the perfect opportunity to turn their vision into reality. The following year they founded Orion, a civil engineering firm dedicated to airfield design and committed to putting people first.

Guided by the belief that success stems from strong partnerships, open communication, and a genuine commitment to excellence, Orion takes pride in creating solutions that not only meet technical standards but also exceed expectations.
