Project Kick-Off: Design Services for Airport Improvements at Kalaeloa Airport

Kalaeloa Airport is primarily a commuter airport facility used by unscheduled air taxis, general aviation and transient and locally based military aircraft. It is categorized as a regional reliever airport. Orion is under contract to provide design services for airport improvement, which will include rehabilitation of runway and taxiway pavement, electrical and navigational aid work, adjustment to safety area grades, and runway width adjustments. The project is estimated to conclude in 2030.
